Hello lovely people. The reason I write this late today is that I had a job interview today and I wanted to post after the interview because you never know what you might learn. And yes I learned a lot this week. And one of the lessons I would put at the very beginning of anyone`s journey to improve him or herself.
The lesson: you can learn from everything
This is actually a thing that a lot of successful and smart people around the world say to themselves every day. Steve jobs: "creativity is connecting things". Buddha: "listen before you speak because when you listen you learn and when you talk you recite what you already know". Well this list goes on but the point is that this lesson is very valuable.
Why is it valuable?
Every little thing in life has a meaning, and some people believe that every thing is connected. I can not think of anything that is not connected either! So what this means is that even the seemingly useless things (like gaming for example) are useful. This is because you can use every little concept or thing you learn is connected with at least something in your life. This is the reason you should learn from everything.
How do we do this?
Well this time this is an easy answer. The only thing we need to do is not closing our minds to what other people have to say. Instead try to learn things from random objects or people. With objects this is easy since you can just think about for example a tree (that tree is so peaceful maybe I should be like that as well). But with people this might be a bit harder since most of the time you learn more from talking with them. Just look for something they are interested in and I will promise they will teach you a lot. I learn everyday from all kinds of people, and I have one warning before I stop: Some people are really passionate about a subject, be prepared to listen for a long time about some subjects and remember every information is useful.
